The mission of the Foundation's projects related to the perpetuation of the historical heritage of Russia in sculptural compositions is to preserve for future generations the memory of the outstanding achievements of the predecessors which the country is proud of.

Family - linchpin of peace. Cyprus, Ayia Napa

On November 4, on the Day of National Unity, the inauguration of the sculptural group “Family - linchpin of peace” took place at 19:00 on the embankment of the city of Ayia Napa in Cyprus.

The installation of the monument became possible due to the cooperation of the Creative World Foundation headed by Vyacheslav Zarenkov, the Russian Embassy and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Cyprus, the municipality of Ayia Napa, the Cyprus-Russia Friendship Society and the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of Cyprus.

This memorial symbolizes such values as unity and family being the main guarantors of peace on earth. We hope that it will also become a symbol of Cyprus as a country that shares these values.

“The idea of creating this monument was born when we were thinking about a composition dedicated to the Great Victory. In the family circle, we were thinking about what a monument could be. And during the discussion, the idea was born that the family is the main linchpin and symbol of peace, the triumph of good over evil. And if happiness and peace reign in our families, there will be peace on the whole planet too. As a result, Yulia, wife of my son Dmitry, got so excited about the idea that after only a few days she brought me a sketch of the future monument,” comments Vyacheslav Zarenkov
