Moscow and the Golden Ring Cities: Winter Plein-Air



In January 2016, as part of Viacheslav Zarenkov International Socio-Cultural Project "Creative World", a creative expedition "Moscow and Towns of the Golden Ring of Russia through the Eyes of Contemporary Artists" took place.


Within two weeks of the plein-air the brush maestros, the participants of the Creative World Project, from Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Latvia, Finland and China visited Moscow, Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov, Suzdal, Vladimir, Bogolyubovo and Alexandrov.

During the trip the painters from around the world have created picturesque paintings where they embodied all the bright they saw during the tour.




The project creative team included both well-known painters, the participants of international exhibitions, and the young talents, the students of Ilya Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture: Thomas Artyuton (United Kingdom), Willy Boos (Germany), Pauli Viljanen (Finland), Dmitryy Egupov (Russia), Sabina Caseresa (Latvia), Marc Langbein (Finland), Liana Perepelitsyna (Russia), Anna-Lena Ruff (Switzerland), Christian Ekle (Germany), Gudrun Ertl-Nis (Germany) Chen Yangju (China).




At the end of the creative expedition the works of the artists were presented at the exhibition in the Central House of the Architects in Moscow and then went to St. Petersburg for further exhibiting.
