Germany through the Eyes of Russian Artists


In April, 2015 artists participating in Viacheslav Zarenkov’s project “Creative World” visited Germany.


Eighty five canvases were painted by eight artists from St Petersburg during the plain-air in the ancient cities and castles.

As a result of the expedition the exhibition of paintings “Germany through the Eyes of Russian Artists” was held in Humboldt Carre Konferenz Exhibition Hall in Berlin.



In the canvases painted by Evgeny Antipov, Alexandr and Anzhelika Grishins, Dmitry Egupov, Alexandr Zagoskin, Olga Krasnoperova, Victor Tikhomirov and Dmitry Shagin the visitors of the exhibition could see Munich, Nurenberg, Meersburg, Wurzburg, Rotenburg, Dresden, Meissen, and certainly, Berlin as well as Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Hohenzollern castles.

Besides pictorial art unique photos were taken and video footage for a future film was made.
