Alexander Grishin

Born on March 1, 1959 in the village of Kalia, Sverdlovsk region.
In 1983 he graduated from the Painting Faculty of Bryansk Art College.
In 1997 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (A.A.Mylnikov’s studio of monumental painting).
Since 1997 – a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Professor at St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin.
Corresponding member of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Professor Emeritus Shenchzhenskogo University (China).
In 2003 he was awarded the medal "300 years since the founding of St. Petersburg."
In 2008 he was awarded the medal "75th anniversary since the founding of St. Petersburg Union of Artists."
In 2009 he received the gold medal "Personalities of St. Petersburg."
In 2011 he was awarded an honorary diploma of the Mayor of Limassol Andreas Christou (Cyprus).
In 2012 he was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts.
In 2013 he received the thanks of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg.
Member of many Russian and international exhibitions.
His works are in galleries and private collections in Russia, Germany, Finland, Norway, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, USA, Cyprus, China, Switzerland.
