Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Hellenic Republic V.I.Chkhikvishvili visited the event and highly appreciated works of St Petersburg artists. The exhibition became a bright event of the cultural life of Athens. The event awoke great interest from the part of Greek art amateurs and specialists, our compatriots in Greece. The exhibition hall hardly housed all guests. According to the words of one of visitors of the exhibition close mentality, culture and religious views contributes to benevolence between the Greeks and the Russians. However, for the last years it has been the first event when the whole group of professional artists from Russia arrived in Greece and devoted their pictures to it.
